What does it do?

Outdoor living
in everyday life.

A zip screen is a shading system designed for outdoor use. Its fabric edges lock into side channels with a zip, so it stays in place in the wind and turns terraces, pergolas and balconies into usable space.

  • Wind resistant

The locked edges keep the fabric firmly within its frame.

  • Heat and sun control

Stops the sun before it reaches the glass, slowing heat build up indoors.

  • Privacy outdoors

Turns the terrace into an enclosed space, screened from neighbouring façades.

  • Insect and dust barrier

With the right fabric, it protects open areas from insects and dust.

Frequently asked questions

Before you decide,
what should you know?

Can it stay down in the rain?

It withstands short showers, but we recommend retracting it in persistent rain and strong wind. A sensor can do this automatically.

Can it be added to an existing pergola?

Yes, if the column spacing and supporting structure allow. We check the structure during the site survey.

Does it need to be removed for winter?

No. Once retracted, the fabric is protected inside the closed headbox.
